We read the bills moving through Congress and all 50 statehouses, explain what each one actually does in words anyone can read in twenty seconds, and give our honest verdict on who it really helps: everyday people, or the donors and corporations behind it.

Most of what changes your daily life doesn't happen on cable news. It happens quietly, in committee, in bills nobody reads. Our job is to read them.

We are nonpartisan by rubric, not by both-sides reflex: we don't score by party, we score by who a bill helps and who it hurts, and we show our work on every bill. Analysis is drafted with AI assistance and checked against the official bill text before publishing; scores are editorial opinions, not legal advice. When we get one wrong, we say so.
