Nonhazardous retiree health subsidy would rise to $40 per month per year of service.
Hazardous duty retiree health subsidy would rise to $50 per month per year of service.
Employee contribution rate for eligible members would increase to 2% of pay.
Subsidy changes would apply retroactively to service earned before July 1, 2027.
Subsidies for impacted retirees would start on or after January 1, 2027.
The changes affect members who joined on or after July 1, 2003 and meet the career threshold.
