Right now, New Hampshire is the only state that does not force drivers to buy auto insurance. This bill would change that. It requires everyone to carry basic coverage to pay for injuries and car repairs if they cause a crash. While this means a new mandatory bill for the drivers who currently go without it, it protects everyone else from getting stuck with massive costs when an uninsured driver hits them.
