The Glucose Monitors Bill
New bill would force insurers to cover glucose monitors
Relative to insurance coverage for glucose monitoring.
Good for everyday people ·
If passed, insurers would have to pay for glucose monitors and supplies for people with diabetes, with low copays and no deductible.
Our take
What we think, in plain words.
This could save diabetics thousands on device costs and make managing the disease easier, but it may raise premiums for everyone else as insurers spread the expense.
