Finding a good nursing home for a loved one is stressful enough. Right now, some referral agencies secretly take big payouts to push families toward certain places. This proposed bill would step in to protect families by forcing these agencies to be honest about their fees. It also adds new restrictions and duties they must follow. Because we only have the title of the bill so far, we cannot see all the details yet. However, forcing middlemen to show their hidden fees is usually a big win for everyday people.
