Big shipping companies often track their workers down to the second. If workers fall behind, they can get fired. This means people sometimes skip bathroom breaks or work unsafely just to keep their jobs. This bill would force large warehouses to put their speed quotas in writing so there are no surprises. More importantly, it would make it illegal to punish a worker for missing a quota if that quota stopped them from using the restroom or taking a meal break. It also protects workers from being fired just for asking to see their own speed data. If you care about treating workers like human beings instead of robots, this proposed bill is a massive step forward.

- Bosses would have to give workers a written copy of their speed quotas and explain what happens if they fail to meet them.

- Workers get the right to ask for their own speed tracking data for the last 90 days.
