Right now, bad doctors can quietly move from clinic to clinic. This bill would change that by forcing hospitals to warn you if your doctor is found guilty of abusing a patient. It makes hospitals dig through their records and mail a warning to every single person that doctor treated. If the hospital drags its feet, they get hit with a massive fine. This is a huge win for patient safety because it stops hospitals from sweeping abuse under the rug.
